Where our Story Begins<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Favara, in the province of Agrigento, 1938.<\/strong> In t<\/span>he sunny south of Sicily, between lemon trees and sand-colored hills, Giuseppe \u201cPep\u00e9\u201d Bongiorno<\/strong> is born. In a family with nine children, he learns what it means to live from nature \u2013 and with each other. Everything is made by hand, prepared in-house, with a respect for traditions that is difficult to translate, but easy to feel. <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/strong><\/h4>\n

From Suitcase to New Future<\/strong><\/h4>\n

In 1965<\/strong>, Pep\u00e9 leaves his native soil. With nothing more than a suitcase and a lot of courage, he leaves for Belgium, looking for work, but especially for opportunities. What he finds there changes his life: in 1969<\/strong> he marries Ada Aielli<\/strong>. Two people, two cultures, one new home. <\/p>\n

Born between Two Worlds<\/strong><\/h4>\n

On January 6, 1970<\/strong>, Vincenzo Bongiorno<\/strong> is born. His cradle is in Belgium, but his values are Sicilian. He grows up with the discipline of his parents, the importance of family, and the simple happiness of a good glass and a good conversation. Vincenzo is the bridge between generations, and it soon becomes clear: he carries more than just his father’s name. <\/p>\n

The Taste of Memory<\/strong><\/h4>\n

When Pep\u00e9 passes away in 1998<\/strong>, he remains present in a different way. Not only in photos and stories, but in the way the family comes together, cooks, tastes and commemorates. In 2000<\/g>, grandson Giosue Giuseppe<\/g> is born, named after his nonno. Simone<\/strong> follows later. The next generation is there \u2013 and with them the urge not to store the family history in boxes, but in bottles. <\/p>\n

from Heritage to <\/strong>Brand<\/strong><\/h4>\n

In 2009<\/strong>, Vincenzo starts his own company: Bongiorno<\/strong>. What started as a family story is now becoming a brand. No mass production, no compromises \u2013 but an honest search for taste, quality and character. The first creation arrives in 2012<\/strong>: Limoncello della Campagna<\/strong>. A fresh liqueur with the soul of Sicily and the character of Genk. <\/p>\n

An Ode to Pep\u00e9<\/strong><\/h4>\n

In 2016<\/strong>, a special new creation appears: Don Pep\u00e9<\/strong>. A blood orange liqueur that tastes not only of fruit, but of memory. To a father figure who always stays close. <\/p>\n

The brand gets a complete makeover a year later. Sleek lines, artistic accents, Sicilian flair \u2013 Bongiorno grows. <\/p>\n

In 2018<\/strong>, an artistic line is even added: The Art of Bongiorno<\/strong>, inspired by traditional Sicilian illustrations.<\/p>\n

In 2020<\/strong>, Bongiorno\u2019s Limoncello is awarded Product of the Year<\/strong>. An award that not only honors the product, but the entire story around it. In 2021<\/strong>, three new liqueurs follow: Sambuca<\/strong>, SamNera<\/strong> and Aperitivo<\/strong> \u2013 new faces in a familiar family. <\/p>\n
